French as a Second Language Learning!
Canadian Parents for French (CPF) - British Columbia &
Yukon is the provincial
branch of CPF which is the national network of volunteers,
composed of
individuals and families, which values French as an integral
part of Canada and
which is dedicated to the promotion and creation of French
Second Language
(FSL) learning opportunities for young Canadians.
French Immersion Program and FSL or Core French Program!
In our
schools and in our
communities, CPF works to enhance the quality of French
Immersion and Core
French/FSL educational programs.
Bilingual in both Canadian Official Languages!
CPF believes in a bilingual Canada
where young Canadians
have the opportunity to learn both of Canada's official
languages, English and
French. We believe every child has the right to become a
bilingual citizen through French second language programs such
as the French Immersion program and the FSL/Core French
program.
Support for Parents with Children Learning French!
CPF provides support, information and resources for parents
with children in the French Immersion or a French as a Second
Language (FSL/Core French) programs.
